I see Broncos fans hoping the Bengals lose. I'm not sure why.
1. If The Broncos beat the Bengals, they have a 1 1/2 game lead on Cincy. So even if we lost at Pittsburgh, we still would have the edge on Cincy if they won out.
2. I think the Chiefs will get one of the WC berths. I'd much rather see the Jets get in for the last spot than the Steelers. The Jets still have to play the Pats (in NJ) - so assuming they lose that game, having Pitt lose is another advantage.
3. If the Jets win that game vs the Pats, it could push the Pats down to the third seed which means they have to play an extra game. That is if the Begals beat the Steelers this week.
A lot riding on this game, but I'll be for the Bengals.
