With the Broncos on a one game winning streak - I sense mysterious fair weather ahead for these Broncos.

Prior to last week - I was in the depths of despair, but I am now eager to see which Denver Broncos decide they need to play for their jobs. If enough of them decide to play for their jobs - the season can get turned around still.

If you know the history of the Denver Broncos - something odd is about to happen. That is all for now. :)

Good luck today gents! Hoping for a fun & clean game today.

Steelers are possibly starting a 3rd string rookie at RT today against Von Miller... Woof.

Keys to victory:
1. Knock Big Ben on his ass over and over
2. Bottle Up Conner
3. Clock management

No shit, right?

This is going to be a game won in the trenches. Phillip Lindsay will be the x-factor. I see the Steelers defense as extremely vulnerable against a back with his ability to catch and run.

Should be a fun game. I feel the pressure is on them, not us.

A lot of people praising Denver this week. Funny what a big win on the road can do for ya in the national spotlight.

We have seen the Broncos blow a 3 game lead with 3 games to go (don't remember the year), now maybe they run off lat 7 to make the playoffs? We will see.

It seemed like a month between last weeks game this weeks. Just want to see what they do.

If anything Justin Simmons might end his career known as the best hurdle kick blocker in NFL history.

He’s lucky he didn’t get flagged, his leg totally hit the center which should be a penalty.

Agree, but that is his 3rd block that I can remember (Saints, Ravens, and now Steelers).

That offensive pass interference call as bad. It seems there have been more of the really bad calls going against Denver. I am ok with questionable calls going against them, but the number of bad no calls, or bad calls is frustrating.

So far the Steelers haven't done anything on offense. Special teams are keeping them in this game.
Broncos are giving up yards between the 20's but closing the door when it counts. Big Ben is starting to show his frustration and it will cost them.

There’s nothing sweeter than seeing a fat man get the game sealing interception

Oh man. This is a different brand of football then what won us the Super Bowl, but it is working. The bend but don't break philosophy has been used before. The secondary is not top flight, but Roby seems to be playing better. Issac may be forced into action and will need to be very good. He had some good plays today but he was beaten badly if the ball was completed it could have been another long TD.

Overall nice to beat another top AFC team and to get back to .500. Now on to Cincinnati.

This team is playing ugly but effective ball. They’re not pretty and don’t put up amazing numbers on offense or shut teams down completely on defense but they’re getting it done. They’ve been close all along and maybe it’s starting to come together.

One week at a time for the team but for us a nice run is looking increasingly possible. A win over the Bengals next week and the Broncos are .500 again with the season to play for. Broncos football is suddenly exciting again!

After giving up one, Yiadom showed a lot of balls and made some plays .. They gave him safety help, but he was right there on the plays he made ...

The Steelers OL and the OL coaching is excellent

This was the game that Keenum has impressed me the most - he made some great plays on the move, and nailed that safety blitz pickup ...

And I cannot imagine a week in which Phillip Lindsay is not THE MAN !! .. heck of a player

First, just my opinion .. the ban on leaping/jumping over the center is ridiculous - this is an instance where player safety has removed a very interesting, exciting, potentially game changing tactic ..

It is understandable that using another player as a vault is against the rules though - and this is where it becomes sort of cloudy ....

A player can jump the center provided he is lined up on the LOS and does not get a running start ... A "clean" jump is allowed .... So if, in this instance, Simmions' leg might have grazed the lineman - a graze and not a boost - is this considered a clean jump ??

Here's the actual rule .. and I don;t see anything about touching the OL

NFL Rulebook: Section 3, Article 1 - Stationary Jumping the line is within the rules.

renderTimingPixel.png

"Running forward and leaping across the line of scrimmage in an obvious attempt to block a field goal or Kick, or apparent kick, unless the leaping player was in a stationary position on the line of scrimmage when the ball was snapped. A player, who is behind the line of scrimmage before or at the snap, may run forward and leap, provided he does not cross the line of scrimmage or land on players"
