"While the Ducks under new head coach Mark Helfrich failed to make a BCS bowl for a fifth straight year in 2013, they still managed their sixth straight double-digit win season."
Umm...this just doesn't sound right?

it is right.
It just sounds like they haven't been to a BCS game in 5 years.
from this top 25, Ducks have 3 games against teams in the top 12.
4 in top 22.
Pac-12 is certainly looking strong. kind of surprised ASU didn't sneak in the rankings.
What Phil Steele says,
no program has underachieved more in the last four years than the Longhorns.
25 schools are mentioned and not one of them is Bo Pelini's guaranteed 9 or more wins and 4 loss Nebraska. Even Georgia is mentioned, and Nebraska won the bowl matchup. Nebraska should not be mentioned anyway, September 20 the Hurricanes come to Lincoln.
But it won't matter. More than likely Nebraska will look past Fresno State on September 13 in Fresno and get beat, then come back moping and lose to Miami on September 20.
Nebraska can prove it on the field.
Bama over Auburn makes zero sense
8 SEC teams in the top 25? GMAFB. First and foremost, Aggy has no business being in the top 25. They return one of the worst defenses in the country, lost the only player that made them somewhat relevant the last 2 years and lost the best WR and tackle in the country. Plus, Sumlin is not going to have the luxury of living off of Sherman's recruits. He'll actually have to use his own players for the 1st time in his coaching career. UGA and SCAR are waaaay too high, IMO.
As far as Texas goes, we have no business being in the top 25 as well. No QB right now and this coaching staff is unproven for now, but I do like the direction Strong's staff is heading into.
It does to everyone but Auburn fans. Not trying to troll in any way, I just think the majority of people would agree with Bama over Auburn.
Why??? We will have the best offense in college football and our defense will only be better.
