It'd be great if he plays as well as he did at Minny. And his receivers don't suck balls. Kinda needs to happen in order to win, IMO.

Im more worried about the upfront defense than I am Stafford. Fairleys out, not sure about Smokey McPot, Ansah has been limited in practice.... What Miami can do running the ball and when Tannehill rolls out is the key to me.

This looks like a very even matchup with Miami having the edge in offensive production.
Miami hasn't been great at getting to the QB but that is about the only thing that defense hasn't been great at. They play a bend but don't break, keeping everything in front of them while forcing a good amount of turnovers.

Offensively, the Lions have been below average consistently with some big plays at opportune times to elevate their efficiency to slightly below average. The Dolphins deficiencies getting to the QB will benefit from a piss poor Lions Offensive(offensive) line. If the bye week, in addition to pieces returning on offense doesn't improve this stagnant Offense, then the Lions should be in for a long day. If the line shows improvement as well as the offense, then Stafford will be on display with no excuses and had better deliver.

If the Lions offensive woes have been corrected, should be a great game. And I'd choose Lions by 10.

If the Lions continue to struggle on offense, I'd expect a 10-17 point victory for the Dolphins.

Lions roll. A lot of the Dolphins success on defense has to do with being able to play man coverage on outside WR's and mixing up blitzes to pressure the QB.

If they try to do that against Detroit -- I think they will be in some trouble. Grimes and Finnegan will have their hands full trying to man cover Tate and Calvin. They will get eaten alive if they try to do that.

Detroit is coming off a bye -- getting back multiple players and they are playing at home.

Detroit wins 31-17.

If Ebron plays -- Detroit win 142-0. All the game planning Miami has to do trying to limit Ebron -- they don't have time to come up with an offensive game plan. Ebron is the one player who changes the game on both sides of the ball.
