Looking at the numbers they are strong where we are weak. We are strong were they are weak. This should be a great game.

Sacks are going to be interesting. They get none and allow none. We allow a ton and get a ton.

Will our defense or their offense shine? That will decide this game.

Thanks for posting these each week.

This far into the season should be where we start(hopefully) to see some adjustments from Lombardi. Should be a great game.

Great info buddy.

Hopefully we can get after Brees with our stout pass rush and turn that lack of pressure he's faced all season to our advantage.

This will be the 2nd big test for our secondary, imo. They passed the 1st one (Green Bay) with flying colors, so this should really be a fun match-up to watch...

thankfully graham is supposed to be out or at least very limited which will be huge.

their RB stable is stout especially with ingram coming back but that goes into our wheel house. the big matchup is going to be cooks in the slot against our thin secondary. we have done a good job keeping the lid on offenses but this will be a test to say the least.

Our defense should be extra-prepared for this particular team, given how well Lombardi knows the offense.

Pretty sure the Saints defense knows Lombardi's offense as well....Kinda works both ways.

Luckily our offense isn't what's winning us games right now. New Orleans can't say the same thing.

If both offenses sputter, then we are at a huge advantage.

I'll go with the Lions at home over a Saints squad that has had major turnover issues this year and will be without their biggest offensive threat, Jimmy Graham...

I'm pretty sure the Lions will be without CJ.....Works both ways. I'm sure Saints fans are picking N.O. and saying since the Lions look like crap on offense and don't have CJ they are taking the Saints.

Haha, alrighty there, guy. You asked who I was taking. I gave you my answer. Apparently I didn't get it correct, should have studied harder, I guess.

All-in-all, I agree, we'll be limited without CJ, no argument there. Like I said, though, if both offense sputter, advantage: Detroit Lions. Our defense is #1 in the whole wide world. Their's is 28th. They're also 30th in the turnover margin.

A defensive struggle would be a victory in itself for us against an offensive-minded team like the Saints. Basically we'd be taking away what they do best and playing right into our strength.

All debates are fair. The Lions with home field advantage.....The Saint's excelling in Dome stadiums......etc etc.....I still think this is a toss up game.

Might sound a little cliche but this game is coming down to the trenches. We are bad at protection, they are bad with getting pressure. We get great pressure they are great in protection. Difference is our qb is used to playing under tons of pressure. Hope that matters.

The bigger question is does Lombardi get carried off on the teams shoulders if we win?

Saints don't know Lombardi's offense. He's never ran an offense before. I don't even think Lombardi knows his offense, yet. But Lombardi does know a lot of the Saints players and tendencies, offensively and defensively.

I would say, as far as the idea of familiarity, huge advantage for the Lions. But, that gap is narrowed because the Saints, off a bye week, have had longer time to study film.

Interesting input. Who you picking?
