145 games, 638 plate appearances, led the league in HRs, 2nd in RBI, 3rd in the NL in WAR for position players
I'd say that's a full season.
Yeah, but you watch soccer.

Yeah but just for the short shorts.Yeah, but you watch soccer.
I am wondering how they use Stanton
Gardner is clearly the better LF, although Stanton is a good RF, where Judge is also very good
Can he really be signing on to be mostly a DH?
The speak that Pig Latin Mumo Jumbo.Don't you mean North Guadalajara Island?
The Marlins are executing major franchise-changing deals, including the swap of their best player, and the head of baseball operations -- Derek Jeter -- should be at the winter meetings to explain the moves; it's a responsibility that comes with the title. He is not here.
wow, this new Miami ownership seems kind of bad at negotiating
did the yankees win the WS, NO.. did the dodgers win the WS, NO. did the astros win the WS, YES... Y, because of a solid starter! not a HR hitter, and not the mentality of hoping a starter gets to the 5th
New York summers must be way different than New Hampshirecan't wait to see stanton play in the snow.... idiots

The Astros Game 7 starter in the World Series didn't even make it to the 4th inning.did the yankees win the WS, NO.. did the dodgers win the WS, NO. did the astros win the WS, YES... Y, because of a solid starter! not a HR hitter, and not the mentality of hoping a starter gets to the 5th
Yeah one good season for Cole, and it was excellent. It's not like last season was poor, still a lot of value in slightly above average pitching over 200 innings. Not much makes Pasta happy
I don't like Gerrit Cole, but he's the next one heading to the Bronx

Gotta ask, if I remember correctly you didn't want Stanton, and I know you don't like Cole. So would you be happy with this offseason or critical?
That's fair. I've laid out my reason for why Yankees fans shouldn't have a thing to complain about with the Stanton deal. I'm hearing mixed reports from up here. Morning show here is saying that New York is not happy, afternoon show is saying that they are ecstatic. From actual baseball fans, not the OMG HOME RUNS YAY! crowd, what's the feeling in Yankee town? Not so much I didn't want Stanton as much as I just never thought it was in the realm of possibility. I do believe it's a gluttonous move, but hard for me not to imagine it doesn't improve them
Cole I really am not gonna like, especially considering Frazier and Chad Green are being reported as just "part" of the package
I'd much rather Alex Cobb, but don't know how it fits financially
