I do agree with the scheduling. You want to have both teams rested up for your championship series. All games in the Finals are usually always in prime time

My point was... 5PM local time start is considered "prime time"? If so, that's still fucking bullshit.

I'd be sort of, kind of, semi-OK with a 6PM PST start but even that is too early.

Fuck the East coast, basically.

But yeah, I'd be slightly more annoyed/pissed of if my team was still in it...

Yeah I hear you, but 8 pm ET is the best time they can do to make it somewhat fair time slot for all coasts to be able to watch the games. Most people out east who work will be going bed around 10 pm, so starting it at say 9 pm would mean they would miss most of the game. Plus if they go to OT your talking about a game going well past midnight.

Well the one thing we west coasters do better then they do is slack. We are usually awake at 1 am so it wouldn't be a big deal for us

at this point ... you want the most eyes watching the game ... it hurts us on the west coast ... neccessary evil imo

its toughest for those actually going to the game (ie with 9 to 5 jobs)

9 to 5 seems a bit off anymore. My Dad's been working 7 (meaning leaving the house before 6) to...well 6ish, 5 days a week his whole life. I love my Dad for all the work he's done, and it kills me that he'll probably never get to really retire. But seriously, I HOPE my job only starts at 9...that's nice!
