Right move. Thought he'd get a fine, tho.

same. fine was what I thought as well. I mean its not clear he bites down as it goes out of camera but you can see the movement towards it.

Why 3 days between games in Vancouver?

Game should be tomorrow night.

Looks like his ankle there, but who knows. According to AV it's a "mid-body" injury.

I dont like this precident. Some are suspended for biting but not others and it depends on how far in to the playoffs a team is. This is a joke.

round 1 always the toughest to get through and Im glad that when we went in it was against chicago. we needed a real challenge and that proved it. a 4 game sweep might have really hurt us actually like it did against St Louis.

Yup. Sometimes when you have a strong first round showing, you get overconfident and fold in the second. Sigh..... :(

It is often noted that twins share a bond where they are able to feel the pain or happiness of the other. While it appeared Henrik was taking a dive, it was actually that Daniel had just overheard Dan Hamhuis would probably not play in game 2.

Agree. It either is a suspension or it is not. I don't know how Horton and Burrows have both escaped what should have been automatic 1 gamers.

like spraying water on a fan. Precedent had been set many times, but not for game 7 of the ECF.
to borrow from bertuzzi, "It is what it is."

Murphy covered himself on the decision anyways, saying there wasn't "conclusive evidence that Burrrows intentionally bit". :confused2:

twitter rumour is Malhotra had emergency eye surgery (grain of salt: people on twitter said Mannys eye exploded the day after he took the puck in the eye)

av was asked and all he responded with was "mannys day to day"

I think the reason Murphy gave is what makes it a joke. If there was some mitigating circumstance they concluded or if they explained that these incidents are not always followed by a suspension, I'd understand.

But I don't get it. They have slo-mo HD footage from multiple angles and a hand that can/has been examined by NHL officials/refs. No conclusive evidence is an unacceptable response.

Maybe Campbell wasn't the problem.

And for the record, I'm rather neutral in the series with a slight lean for the Canucks if anything. I just want to see the NHL do the right thing in the fine/suspension department. Lack of CONSISTENCY is the problem.

The Canucks Depth is about to be tested again. Whos next on the depth chart? I like Ballard, then Alberts... Lets see if Ballard can show he is worth the $4.2 he has collected already...
