It always bugs me when you have a chance to take a guy who's a local kid (no guarantee he'll turn into a NHLer or want to stay in his hometown) who has displayed a knack of putting the puck in the net. I mean, it's a 3rd round pick, if it doesn't work out, nobody bats an eye. If it does work out, you look like a genius for making that selection.
