I mean, we would never hear the end of it up here in the Great White North if the Oilers were to prevail in 7 games. Books would be written, movies would be made, it would be hideous :D

There are already articles this morning about how knoblauch's brilliant coaching strategies have them on the brink of winning the cup.
Only three wins away! Fails to mention only one loss till its over.

And what exactly were his tactical masterstrokes? Having a Florida D man crash into Bob on the first one? Having it deflect in off a Florida stick on the second? So far all I have seen from him is "put McDavid and Draisaitl out there together". We're only a few days removed from him pulling his goalie with 5 minutes left when the opposing team could ice the puck since they were shorthanded.

Not since Don Cherry and the Bruins has a coach gotten more praise simply because of who is on his bench.

Oh the movie would be great…
“Thank you so much McJesus!”
“Thanks kid, but they don’t call me that anymore. Now they call that guy… McDavid.”
(Triumphant music)

Benching Skinner, benching Perry,
and putting Broberg with Nurse has turned - 16 into Conn Smyth candidate

My bookie sucks.

Odds to win the Stanley Cup:

Before Game 4: EDM +900 FLA -2500
After Game 4: EDM +750 FLA -1200

I need to become a bookie.

Ok, we all want to see a game 6 right? And we want the Oil to win that for game 7 back on the Miami beaches in JUNE no less. smh.

I am not an Oil fan boy by any stretch. However I spent 55 yrs of my life a 20 to 50 minute drive into Ontario. I'm very nationalistic when it comes to hockey which I give full credit of a lifetime of hockey joy to Canada. SO when push comes to shove and their is a Canadian team left standing, I'm gonna pull for them. My days are getting short I been praying for a Canucks Laffs final for awhile now. Yeah I got softer in my old age, the Leafs and the Hawks were the teams I used despised forever. I still despise the Hawks but now have a wee bit of love for the Leaf. Key word, wee. lol
