Man, they just set the tone and punished Burns and McCaffery early and often. Gotta do that to oregon. Accept they'll get yards, but make them pay for them.

Speaking of Wooching, I didn't notice at the game, or on second viewing that night, but just saw, it was him in at tight end who dropped the pass Browning zipped just a little high on that rollout on the goaline, the one they kicked the short field goal after.

Well, third time through and it still ends 44-6.

The amazing thing was rushing only 4 and continually being in the backfield against 5 linemen. And sometimes a TE or two. That's not Stanford. Gave up 8 sacks with NO BLITZES. I mean really?

Oregon is going to be a lot more like Zona. UW struggled a bit with the tempo and not being able to substitute and zona made them pay. As we speak I'm sure Helf and co are pouring over that tape looking at what worked. I think UW will get a few stops and probably cause a turnover or two, but they are going to get yards and points. We just don't match up as well against that as we do the more traditional power set offense.

Of course I'm not sure their defense can do much all day. They are going to have to hope we shoot ourselves in the feet and be our own worst enemy. If that offense gets rolling early expect it to steamroll that D.

Listen to the opener, and like the last 5 mins or so of that first hour. Most of the middle is Seahawks stuff, but he did get pretty hyped and a little emotional about that Stanford game and his thoughts of the Oregon game.
