Then you have never been to Soldier Field...of course you show pictures that does not show the parking at Soldier Field...There is indoor parking north of the stadium.....there is tailgating parking south of the stadium across the street from the stadium....Seems like you are a packer fan so it wouldn't be any good trying to explain anything to you. Go to lambeau if you like it so much... Who fucking cares what the "design" is....watching the game is the part that matters...Like people in the stadium are saying...." it would be better watching this game if the stadium was designed better"

You now have to be educated to know what a nice stadium looks like?.........:L

But yet Dallas fans envy us.:laugh3:

And yes,I will agree with the other statement. The seats I had for the two games I seen, was an awesome view....
But the design of the stadium from the outside is not a very good one......As someone earlier said the mix between the newly built and the collonades clash.......they do not belong together..........

It's awesome. Easily one of the coolest looking stadiums. The modern look added onto the old school "gladiator" feel that the pillars give. The city skyline in the back drop, and Lake Michigan sitting right behind it. You're simply wrong, and just need something to bitch and moan about. Like a lot of people who are unhappy with their lives, and need to pawn their misery off on things like the design of football stadiums that they spend .000000000000000001% of their lives at on an annual basis.

Now now fellas, everyone has a right to their opinions. This is just a personal choice. Me, I would like it better without the pillers. Sorry but they just don,t belong together or near that modern stadium. Aesthetics count. Without the pillers it would be badassed

Opinions do matter and everybody is entitled to theirs...I just dont understand complaints about having to walk bit or a lot to get to the stadium. A little walk never hurt anybody. We walk from the south 31st lot when we dont win a lottery parking spot just south of the stadium. They do have shuttle buses for the lazy, handicapped, older or people who just dont feel like walking. The clolumns look fine to me, very unique in its own way. Could it have been better? Of course.... it could have been worse.

No. Most people I have heard this from are actually rather educated on their NFL stadiums, and have seen many. They call Soldier easily one of the top places to watch an NFL game. Especially because it's right in the city, walking distance from amazing restaurants and pubs.

The location of the stadium is pretty nice. When I say Soldier Field is average, I refer to the stadium itself. I find it hard to believe people find Soldier Field that much nicer than other stadiums. Again, it's probably about seventh best of the 11 i've been to (I missed the Eagles in my earlier post).

And it's not like I am one of those debbie-downer fans. I think Wrigley is the best MLB park i've been to out of 15 or so current parks. I've been to 20ish CFB stadiums, and Camp Randall is my #2. I think the Kohl Center is one of CBB's elite venues.

so wheres all this stadium envy?

No one from, dallas will trade stadiums ever.........

And as one other person said about liking to see the city in the background..All new stadium being built are doing this.Does
I kinda like the inside, but the outside clashes...........

And ps......Does the guy that says he is envied of the stadium, does that mean he is stadium knowledgable?.....lmao

I`ve been there twice..........

This I did not know.......

And yes,I walked from one end of the parking lot in the south side of the stadium where the McCormick is to the stadium, and its not like walking across the street......This is why I hate going to Wrigley.
When I get out of the car,I wanna be able to feel like I`m already there,Soldier field does not make me feel that way.And with the prices they charge.......Good Lord.

I guess you also have the choice of just not going. Sorry you feel that way. There are a lot of us that dont mind the little walk. A bit of exercise never hurt me so I am okay with the walk.

I still go to Cub games,I`ll still go to Bear games.
It is what it is and theres nothing I can do about it or any of us.
I just think for the money that was spent, they could of had a better design with parking...........

That view was farther from the field. Im a big fan of the new stadium. The overall game experience is 100% better. The parking is great and for the most part the fans are great.

The stadium is between the lake and Lake Shore Drive......the planners had limitations. They did the best they could do. Rememe LSD used to split around Soldier Field.
