Soldier I believe is not as great as the money they put into it............to keep the old column and add a spaceship into it seems awfully wierd to me.
As someone above said that they tried to mix the two and failed...........Its an odd creation.
making it out of brick would have been 10xs the better look......not a reflective metal.

Been there for two games, seen the Lions and the Chargers just two years ago.
its ok in my opinion, but i wouldn`t say fantastic either.
I did like the field view and the seating.I sat in the south endzone.I liked being able to walk in where the standing room is and being close to the field.I thought it was awesome.
But once again,i have not been to any of the newest stadiums built to be able to give an accurate opinion......
Its def better than the Met and Edward Jones(been to both),but thats not saying much.

Sorry but this is just a bad design:

The design is one thing...is it a stadium where football watching is excellent???? YES.and that's all tbat matters. Im not there to admire the aesthetics. ..I'm there to watch football. If you want to see art go to the FREAKING museum...

People are ridiculous.

Soldier Field is easily one of the coolest looking stadiums in the NFL from the outside.

Sorry it's not the same as it was in the 80's, but times change. People just love to bitch. The stadium is twice what it was prior. What a dump that place was on the inside. One bathroom on each side of the stadium? Are you kidding me?

Everyone I know that isn't from Chicago tells me they have "stadium envy" of the new Soldier Field. Including Dallas fans who sit in that zillion dollar stadium every week. But all people here do is bitch about it.

being nostalgic I love the old stadiums. Been to Lambeau and loved it. Soldier field is on my bucket list. The rest you can have. Nothing against Det or Minn but arena ball is played under a roof. Just my opinion

Your opinion...not mine. I personally am glad its not a usual looking stadium. Uniqueness is not a bad thing

I've gone to multiple games every single year, and I've tailgated every one. Never had a problem parking, so I'm puzzled at this complaint. To be honest.

No. Most people I have heard this from are actually rather educated on their NFL stadiums, and have seen many. They call Soldier easily one of the top places to watch an NFL game. Especially because it's right in the city, walking distance from amazing restaurants and pubs.

You now have to be educated to know what a nice stadium looks like?.........:L

But yet Dallas fans envy us.:laugh3:

And yes,I will agree with the other statement. The seats I had for the two games I seen, was an awesome view....
But the design of the stadium from the outside is not a very good one......As someone earlier said the mix between the newly built and the collonades clash.......they do not belong together..........
