I just hope everyone doesn't make lazy statements about the Spurs size and age.

The SPURS are a lot BIGGER and younger than they were in 2011.

The 2011 team was older and smaller in the frontcourt.
They had 6'6" Richard Jefferson (31) and 6'8" Antonio McDyess (37).

I think the additions of 7'0' Tiago Splitter (28) and 6'8" Kawahi Leonard (21) changes that dynamic considerably. And Danny Green is 2 inches taller than George Hill at shooting guard.

The 2013 Spurs starters are actually slightly bigger and younger than the 2013 Grizzlies starters.

But, nobody ever listens to facts. They just assume it is 2011 forever.

If Memphis wins, it will be because they are a better team..

It wont be because they were bigger and younger 2 years ago.

Spurs had 3 fairly bad games against the Warriors and still won the series in 6. If I felt like the Spurs were due then Spurs in 7. I think my eyes are telling me Grizzlies in 6, though. They just look like the better team.

What might be really jarring is that the weakest link on the Grizzlies might be Tayshaun Prince and the weakest link on the Spurs might be Tim Duncan if the +/- on the clinching games is any indication.

And nobody is beating the Heat

Apparently the SPURS will get swept in 4 games now.

The Grizzlie bandwagon is skyrocketing to absurd levels.

Maybe they only need 3 games to win the series...and the SPURS will simply forfeit game #4 in awe of their greatness.

My eyes tell me Grizz in 6 but my gut tells me I am wrong.

I will probably watch every game twice from here on out.

SA and Mem somewhat plays the same way(SA runs more p&r) and imo the Grizzlies do it better than the Spurs. Conley can more than keep up with Parker and that pick and roll, and Tony Allen can defend Ginobli. The Spurs are the best team(maybe Indiana but that's debatable) that can matchup with Gasol and Randolph, but in the end I think Gasol and Randolph will be too much for Duncan and Tiago. I have a HIGHLY contested series with Memphis winning in 6.

Like I said they can keep sleeping on Memphis, but IF they make it past SA, they will be no easy out.

The 2 teams that Miami does not want to face are the choices left.

I am not sure anyone is beating Miami....but...

Memphis has the size that Miami cannot match.
a healthy SA has the far superior coaching and all around balanced game.

Miami was rooting for OKC. They own the Thunder.

Neither the Spurs nor the Grizzlies will be as easy an out as the Thunder for Miami.
