The 2 teams that Miami does not want to face are the choices left.

I am not sure anyone is beating Miami....but...

Memphis has the size that Miami cannot match.
a healthy SA has the far superior coaching and all around balanced game.

Miami was rooting for OKC. They own the Thunder.

Neither the Spurs nor the Grizzlies will be as easy an out as the Thunder for Miami.

:agree:

You do kinda wonder if Miami will wear down at one point if they have to face a physical Bulls team, a physical Pacers team and a balanced team out West. Its hard to see Miami losing without getting worn down but thats actually a possibility considering the road that they are traveling.

I like both teams so I am having a bit of an internal struggle. I like the Spurs because of Tim Duncan and I like the Grizzlies, well, I just do.

I think it goes 6 or 7 games, whoever wins.

Lookin forward to a good series. I think SA will win in 6 or 7. Hopefully Memphis will prove me wrong

Go Grizz!

And I don't think Miami sweeps either team.

I also think Indiana will win at least one game, maybe two if they play as well as they are capable of playing.

If the Knicks somehow beat the Pacers then Miami WILL sweep them. The Knicks don't look like much of a match up for the Heat to me.

:agree: and I get to have a week of making fun of my Knick buddies :D

:agree: Grizzlies are the perfect team for this and imo the only team that will/can go 6 with the Heat.

The Knicks are an excellent team, don't get me wrong, it is just that they do not match up well with the Heat.

It seems who ever plans the schedules think that the Heat/Pacers series will be shorter than Spurs/Grizzlies.

That thought makes sense, but giving the Pacers 5 days rest after giving the Spurs 3 in between series is kind of weird.

NBA does not like the Spurs. You probably don't remember the time that the Spurs finished one playoff series and started the next with less than 24 hours rest while travelling.

I'd like to see Grizz in 7, winning it at the buzzer in SA. Not because I dislike the Spurs, just think that would be a series for the ages. Lots of playing the right way.

Probably get Grizz in 6. I understand the argument above re: Splitter and Leonard making this Spurs iteration younger and bigger than the one from their last series against MEM. But I still don't trust all three of Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan to maintain their health throughout a bruiser with MEM.

And MIA is beatable by both WC Finalists.

Awful call!

No way he should get free throws for that.

this is gonna be a very short series if the Grizzlies keep leaving the 3 point line so wide open
