Frankly I’m also selfish and I want Hammond to be geno’s successor at Uconn.

But espnw posted an article during the women’s final four how unfair it was that 3/4 if the teams were coached by men (guess who got lakers/Kings like officiating in that FF?). But you can’t complain like that and then say Hammond should be an nba coach, especially when 70% if coaching applicants in wbb are men.

She won't.

But, it's great experience.

She has had the opportunity to be a head coach for a college program and declined.

She's paying her dues as an assistant. But, the Bucks can't make this kind of hire at this tenuous time in their franchise.

They are a mess and will need to do something with that roster.

It's not so much she's a woman. It's more that she doesn't have head coaching experience outside of the Summer League.

They need a Coach with experience.

Jackson, Blatt would work.

Maybe even Stackhouse if they don't want a retread.

It’s the NBA Dude. Star player gets coaches fired. The only coaches who have a prayer against that are named pop, Stevens and Kerr.

And that would be a huge PR disaster for the NBA. You think kneeling in the NFL was bad? Imagine that times 100 if a player got a female coach fired simply because he didn't like the way she coached.

yes, I know she has played basketball, but not men's basketball. Totally different game.

I disagree. We don’t need women coaching in the nba just because.

We need more good coaches. But really it’s better for wbb if they coach high profile wbb programs. The game still has a long way to go. Women’s basketball solely exist now because of absurd govt interference. Not because they carry their own weight at all.

Because wbb is a smaller subset of men’s B.B. but there’s so much the women’s game can’t have a part of. The size and athleticism changes the game. Look at the espn article about cappella is a huge reason the floor is spread for the rockets. Doesn’t exist in the women’s game.
