I'm bored so let's talk Spurs/Warriors. I hope LA is ready to go. Hoping Timmy D is the only player unavailable

Yeah I don't think Duncan being out would have a big impact on the end result of the game but LA being out would IMO

DUNCAN is a huge impact.

he is the best frontcourt defender and rebounder, and he is a player that can still score 20 points when needed.
The Spurs huge advantage over GS is their front court strength. (Duncan, Aldridge, Diaw, West).

Any loss in the frontcourt takes away that advantage.
But, Duncan is the one they really need the most to win in their defensive style.

Duncan is the anchor of the top rated defense. I think he is the best defender on the team even though Kawahi is likely going to repeat as DPOY.

Diaw is very good at defense. Aldridge is average. West is below average. None are elite like Timmy.
That great SPURS defense will suffer a bit when you lose the elite defense of Duncan.

This is one of those very rare occasions that come around once in awhile where I find myself rooting for the spurs

Then it's back to the starters...in which case the dubs will still prevail......lol

And if they don't? Answer the question Yoga

There is a chance they lose tonight. You do know this right?

Duncan is vital to the success of the Spurs. In addition to his defense, his passing and low post scoring are huge threats to the Warriors. It most certainly would not be the same game if he played.

I think this will be a hard fought game, that will come down to the wire. Warriors haven't played many of these in the last year and a half so it'll be interesting to see how they hold up. I'm going Warriors 105-99.

Of course there's a chance. And if they lose, they lose- so what. It's not like this is game 7 of the WCF or anything. Like Curry said, it's just another regular season game.
I think they can afford another loss to take their loss total to what, 5? :D

But the better question is if they WIN does that change the minds of the doubters who say the Spurs are the better team?

No it does not. Beating a team in a regular season game means nothing in proving who is the better team when they're so close to each other. On top of that its in Golden State so I think most expect the Warriors to win
