Missouri has better losses. Florida is a better win than Syracuse, Purdue is a better win imo than Virginia, Tennessee and Vandy not much worse than Wake and Georgia Tech.

Just giving my input, not saying I’m right. I’m just down on the ACC.
you dont have to defend yourself bud, its just a discussion, on a message board
i disagree......but thats fine........i dont think purdue is a better win than virginia............florida def better than cuse.....the others, maybe, but i have a hard time ranking a team that has a losing conference record

in all honesty how can u rank cincy and not temple

I'm not either nor an I knocking Pitt/saying Pitt doesn't belong there.

I'm just saying there are probably 10-15 teams that a case could also be made for that #24 spot and move Pitt down. Ain't enough difference in them. Hell, a case could be made that Pitt is actually better than a few ahead of them!

Still wouldn't make them any worse if they weren't in the top 25 or those others any better if they were in it. When we get down to all these 3-4 and even 5 loss teams, it gets more difficult to sort 'em out/put 'em in order IMO.

But they have 4 losses and their strength of schedule is 12. Something that must be considered because of their non-con.

But Pitt went out and challenged themselves big time with that OOC

Not, to dig on Pitt..but I am not entirely sure it should be framed as if they purposely took on voluntary challenges.

I think ACC teams are contractually obligated to play Notre Dame 5 or more times each season.
It is not quite stepping up as much as it is a mandatory quasi-conference game.

As for UCF, they were not a very good team when scheduled.
Pitt scheduled them fresh off a (6-7) season and a beat down no name bowl game loss to Arkansas State.

Penn State is a good OOC schedule though that Pitt did not have to add like ND.

TAMU-yes

Mizzou strength of schedule is Top 10 last I checked, Memphis is a solid win and we blew them out. Beat Florida by 21 on the road. Purdue is a decent team....also a road win. Mizzou pounded UT on the road.....who did beat Auburn and Kentucky

Florida is #11, Mizzou beat them 38-17 on the road.
Memphis isn't terrible
Screwed out of wins vs South Carolina and #15 Kentucky
Didn't play terrible vs Bama and Georgia
