Or NDSU would’ve continued to perform a high level. It’s insane to try to take that away from NDSU considering NDSU started their dynasty against App.
I’m taking anything away from them. They took advantage when App State was down. App State got up again after they moved up.

1 conference championship in 5 years vs 5 in 25 years doesn’t sound like much of a difference.

True. But let’s not act like conference USA and the sun belt are the same level of competition lol

Lol yes exactly. NDSU won championships, and App couldn’t stop them.

You don’t think App State is winning FCS championships these last few seasons?

It’s hard to say. I don’t know how talented they would’ve been had they stayed at the FCS level. The level of competition in the sun belt doesn’t seem significantly better than the FCS.

It’s not like App is the greatest FCS steam ever.

In 2016 THE Ohio State started the year by steamrolling Bowling Green 77-10, Tulsa 48-3, Oklahoma 45-24 and Rutgers 58-0...those are better wins than their current crop...they then got boat raced in the playoffs 31-0 by Clemson. Get back to me when they beat someone with a pulse. They've beaten nobody and nobody they've beaten has beaten anybody.
In 2016, they also struggled mightily at home in their 5th game before pulling away in the 4th with a 6-7 Indiana team. In their 5th game this year, they went on the road and slaughtered Nebraska. They had issues the rest of the season for the most part. It's definitely early, but this team looks more balanced and stronger than any OSU team I can remember since late 2014. This weekend will be a good barometer of what their offense is made of.
