I get ya. Up till about week 7 for me it is really tough to separate actual results from who you honestly just think is the better team.

I normally shut down at Midnight, but I was up and at 'em doing something, and I switched to that game when the Bruins got it down to a 1 score game. Actually, I detest games like that, but it was like watching a train wreck. I had to know who would win before I went to bed!

I took them out of my poll as well. They'll get back in if they keep winning, but it's too early for 1 loss G5 teams to be in the poll IMO.

Give it a couple weeks, and UCF and Utah State will probably be in mine.

What made you crawl out from under your rock finally?

A better perspective on life, ultimately.

However, I wasn’t under a rock. I was building a non profit organization, training and preparing for a houseless day Center and overnight shelter at my church. We focus on giving those struggling with mental wellness and drug dependence challenges resources to gain full recovery, providing opportunities to gain employment for them, find sustainable housing for them, and encourage them to rejoin the community in a positive and impactful way.

I saw a team play sloppy for the entire first half, and then blow every chance in the world to put the game away. All 3 of those FG could have easily been TDs if not for undisciplined play. Yeah, we got the win against a good team, but we're getting blown out by Bama if we play like that.
