I thought the SportsHoopla Bookie swag associated with my poster name was a joke or something, but - in hitting the wrong button (not uncommon) - I came upon a place where it looked like you could bet - I'm thinking maybe this is why I have SportsHoopla cash?

You are correct. The SportsHoopla Cash can be used for bets. I have no idea how it all works but they have referenced it a few times on the general board.
