You know what to do.
@ericd7633 Dude, your rankings are, lets just say, different than most everyone else's. You using a formula or something or you just feel differently than the masses?
What do you take issue with?
I don't necessarily take issue with anything. I just noticed you have Florida St, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech higher than most. Then most of the second tier of undefeated's lower than most. Was just curious if it was a formula giving that result or you.
Not a formula. Teams like Tennessee and FSU have a better resume than teams like Baylor/Nebraska/WVU.
Washington would curb stomp WVU, NU, and Baylor.Just to add, what is stronger about this resume?
Washington
W Rutgers #116
W Idaho #111
W Portland St FCS
W @Arizona #77
W Stanford #55
W @Oregon #51
W Oregon St #88
Yet you have them #4 and West Virginia, Nebraska, and Baylor have similar or better resumes yet they are #11, #12, and #13 respectively.
Washington would curb stomp WVU, NU, and Baylor.
On a neutral field, I think Washington verus WVU and Neb would be toss ups. Baylor is fixing to get exposed...and by the end of the year they might be so bad Rice or SMU would beat them. JMO.Washington would curb stomp WVU, NU, and Baylor.
While Nebraska and Washington may both be good, their schedule really doesn't reflect it...yet. Beating Stanford and Oregon are about as good as early season wins over ND and Texas. Not worth much. They should have a chance to prove themselves in the next few weeks.I think they would beat them also, but I don't know about curb stomping. Everybody here would have bet Ohio St curb stomps Penn St last weekend too. That's why you play the games...
He stated resume was his reasoning for ranking 2 loss teams with blowout losses on their resume ahead of those 3 teams. Washington doesn't have a strong resume either. You can't deny that.
Nebraska needed Oregon to miss out on three two point conversions in order to beat the Ducks in Lincoln. Washington beat that same Oregon team at Autzen by a score of 70 - 21. WVU ... Baylor ..have yet to face a defense like Washington's.On a neutral field, I think Washington verus WVU and Neb would be toss ups. Baylor is fixing to get exposed...and by the end of the year they might be so bad Rice or SMU would beat them. JMO.
I'll post the data and see what it tells me, you could be correct, or not.
Using S&P rankings just because I like formulas for these types of arguments.

I'll admit they've played the much tougher schedules so far and have better wins, but how can you overlook two losses each and one of each being a complete and total whipping? Top 10 teams don't get beat down like that.
Thanks for proving my point. FSU has THREE wins better than WVU's best win. Tennessee has THREE wins better than Nebraska's best win. I'm not overlooking anything. My philosophy is not to reward teams that have played shit schedules, and have not been overly impressive against said schedule. If FSU/TENN/Wisconsin played any of those 3 teams they'd beat them IMO.
