Cool man. Maybe next week after Bama beats UGA you can move the Tide back to number 2... behind Georgia of course. I mean wouldn't want to ruin your track record of not caring about H2H

Well, Alabama doesn't play Georgia this week, and I don't plan on ranking teams based on games 2 weeks ahead next week.

Another one of your "thought provoking" posts I see.

That's almost identical to the AP poll
Since 50 percent of our voters probably use the AP pill to remind them of who to vote for after the top 5 I'd say that is hardly surprising

Next week we post rankings for the games that happened this week.
I'm aware. The game is next week though. That's why I said next week after Bama beats UGA. Lol. Now we are just being stupid. I'm hitting the sack. Fun as always 4D. Hopefully we can do this again after the next poll comes out. It keeps me entertained for sure

[QUOTE="4down20, post: 7246049, member: 4629"You post your rankings for the specific purpose of trying to fuck shit up and give certain teams more points.[/QUOTE]
Good thing that never happens in . . say . . the coaches' poll.

Wide range is mostly my fault. Because I have no preseason bias and rank teams based actually on what they have done this year my rankings look substantially different than people who dont do it that way. Thats how you end up with Northwestern ranked 5th instead of unranked... you know, because theyre Northwertern?? And thats gross.

I would say that Michigan State has the best OOC win considering it is against a perennial top 5-10 team while Wisconsin is a 10-20 team. There other OOC game was against a 6-6 conference USA team. Michigan State played a 10-3 Air Force and an 8-5 Western Michigan. If you want to give credit to Alabaka in a loss more power to you.

Also, Stanford beat a top 5-10 USC team and Northwestern beat Stanford 15-20 team.

I see the Wisconsin win as the 3rd best OOC win.

1. MSU over Oregon
2. Stanford over USC
3. Bama over Wisconsin
4. Northwestern over Stanford

Stanford USC is a battle of two PAC12s but definitely one of the top wins in this young season.

Ohh shit :L

Well apparently, UCLA beating BYU is a better OOC win than Bama beating Wisconsin.

Wisconsin really hasnt played anyone other than the game they lost. BYU played Nebraska, UCLA, and Boise. That win slides into the number 2 then.

Bamas win over Wisconsin would be higher IMO IF it were a road win or if Wisconsin had beaten anyone of note after their loss to Bama. Tough to call it a great win when you have no clue if Wisconsin is any good. At this point its tough to really know who had a great OOC win. I mean TCU got mocked for ONLy beating Minnesota at Minnsota by 6 but the Gophers are every bit as capable of winning the B10 West as Wisconsin is. There are plethora of other examples like that out these. So far the only real team to win a OOC game vs a team that then in turn beat someone decent is NW over Stanfrod so even though it was a home game that carries more weitgh for me than Bama beating a team who hasnt accomplished anything after that game. Kind of how I feel about MSU and their win over Oregon too, if the Ducks beat Utah this weekend then MSU's win will carry MUCH more weight
