Favre get so much hate now that he has actually become underrated. People forget what he did in his prime and judge him by what he was doing in his late 30s and early 40s, which quite frankly still better than what anybody else has done at that age.

His best season was as a Viking when he was 40 years old...

Brees numbers are impressive next to Young's and Moon's.

Yep, but they have no running game and a lousy defense and he passes it over 600 times a season, I like Brees I just think Moon and Young were better.

No problem with that list and understand Brees numbers are higher because of the offense he runs but its all how you evaluate a player numbers vs offense run.

Moon ran the run and shoot in Houston for a while and he had a great season with the Vikes but imagine his numbers if he was given the chance to play in the NFL straight out of College instead of having to wait until he was 28 years old.

And too be honest I would take all 3 of them, Young, Moon and Brees over Elway who IMO is in the top 3 most overrated players in league history.

I was at a place called Lee's Billiards in St. Paul Minnesota watching the Vikings and 49ers back in I believe 1987 when Young went on that crazy 40 something yard run through the entire Vikes defense. That was one of the most amazing plays I have ever seen.
