Looks like it, yes.Is the Miss St transfer backstabbing SOB available?
Malik Newman?
Looks like it, yes.
Front page is up to date, sans the last 2 picks of McCoy and Spaulding.
Is he your pick?
With the 51st pick, the Paper Clips select 6'8 Vince Edwards from Purdue ....
Because my perfectly crafted plan got blown to Shit when the Spurs stole McCoy from me.
I should have nabbed him at #41.
But, Nooooooo
I had to be cute and tried to be greedy.
Fuck.
Knicks still looking to acquire a pick
The Brooklyn Nets offer the 57th pick in the 2018 NBA draft to the NY Knicks for the exclusive rights to have Chris Childs bobblehead night.
Sorry was out of the country again.
Utah Jazz - Matur Maker, Power Forward, 6-10, 215 lbs.
(Was considering Ray Spaulding due to position, so if Matur is taken...)
Did i win? @Mecca let me know, imma go cook some eggs in my underwear.
Matur Maker withdrew his name from the 2018 draft recently. Spaulding was already taken a few picks back...
Thanks, how about: Ajdin Penava. Can block shots and hit threes. I don't know the draft we'll, so just picking the next available PF who can start at PF or backup minutes behind PF starter and Gobert.
With the 53rd Pick in the NBA Draft the Orlando Magic Select:
Isaac Bonga, 6'10", PG - Germany
This is a luxury, draft and stash for them. Dude is only 18 right now and getting better overseas. He's listed as a SF/PF but with his handle and his passing he'll probably end up being an oversized PG in the NBA or possibly a player in the Lamar Odom mold. Lots of upside with this young of a player and he can have a chance to develop a bit before he has to come over the NBA. Tons of potential though.
Yeah, his biggest question is if he can make it as a below average athlete.
His length at least will give him a fighting chance.
Yeah, his length will definitely give him a fighting chance. Odom wasn't super athlete with blazing speed but he was very fluid and played with a right pace. This kid looks like he could do something similar.
At this point in the draft it would be a home run for a team like Orlando. Probably one of the highest upside guys left on the board and they need to go big at this point. For my "fantasy" draft for them,
I cleared tons of cap space, with only Biyombo being the worst contact left that comes up in 2 years. I drafted Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Holiday who will be day 1 starters. I should be able to move Vucevic during the deadline or during the season for additional draft picks.
I have a core of:
MPJ
Holiday
Jonathan Isaac
2019 High Lottery Pick
Lots of incoming draft picks
Lots of cap space.
The Magic can rebuild their roster from the ground up without being committed to a lot of marginal players.
