Couldn't pass on him, plus the big men left didn't really interest me. In this situation Mason could be traded off if need be.
He can push Fox or just be a good change of pace.

I'd love to see this happen.

He might be bummed. But, being a 2nd rounder isn't what it used to be.

Many get 3 year deals.

@Shanemansj13 gonna try to veto this shit....lol

It’s a worse trade than mine for the Lakers lol. Vucevic is underrated but they take on 30M. 17M for Biyombo and 1 year shorter contracts but it seems unnecessary.

VETO!

if you're under the cap you can do that.

The Lakers were under the cap with my trade. Houston was giving up more than 28.4. The Lakers are getting 30M in salaries when they can again use that on two max players. It’s a bad deal

Thank god CL67 isn't the real Lakers GM. Sheesh.

I understand being torn. He's not exactly Pelinka, but he's better than Kup...when he's not getting favors from Jerry West that is.

Not only am I not taking back any 1st round picks of the Lakers, they get a starting center and Biyombo's contract to match up with Deng's in case they strike out in free agency (which is a possibility). They have space for a max and then will have 34M in expirings to deal the following year. On top of that they get back Vucevic who's clearly the best player the Magic have and averaged nearly 16 and 10 last year on limited minutes. His skill set is perfect for the Lakers.

Levels to this game son.

Maybe he will flip a big?

Trade would look altogether different if it were Vuvecic and Fournier or Simons.

Leave OKC out of this...unless someone wants to send me Gordon. :)

Y'all got like 5 Centers now.....lol

FWIW, Fournier's deal is a year long than Simmons or Biyombo.

They had max for one player with my deal too except they get two wing players and 3 point shooters. You get a one way player in Biyombo and another Brook Lopez. This deal in the big picture still hurts LA. Their goal is two max players

EVERYONE knows the Lakers plan for this year, and he's torpedoing it out of hatred for James. He's destroying any flexibility for next year for players that don't fit the modern NBA much anymore.

Yeah, levels that keep the Lakers from improving this summer or next.

But, he's a much better player.

I'm looking at their roster as a whole....

They renounce Slopez to pick up Biyombo on a longer deal?

Because, they'd have to do that to fit both incoming.....

Unless Deng is in the deal?

Maybe I read to fast.

Yes but you also have to look at who's worth that max contract. There are 4 guys out on the market: Lebron, CP3, PG and Boogie. After that you're not going to max DeAndre Jordan, Aaron Gordon or Clint Capela. It's always good to have a backup plan. They can set up with their young guys still and in 2020, it's a monster free agent class. At worst they'll have leverage to trade upwards of 34M in combined salary as expirings in 2019 with Deng and Biyombo.

Good thing this is just for fun.

Maybe he has more moves coming down the pipe.

No otherwise it's be a wash money wise. I got back a 2nd round pick for Nikola Vucevic. The cost for that was taking 2 years of Biyombo. Vucevic is the best player to have been shipped there. His numbers support it and he's only 27.
