Spoelstra Exposed: Fraud....Maybe

I been saying this for years that he was over rated and we are seeing he isn't that great of a coach. He doesn't have LBJ anymore to hide his coaching. Heat still have a solid team but stand at 11-13 and now have some injuries and it looks like they wont make the playoffs.

I don't think he is a bad coach but I also don't think he is a good coach. I have watched a couple of games and this team some times looks lost.

My dog could've coached last year's Heat to the playoffs. Now we'll see how "great" of a coach he is. Not saying he's bad, but he's not a top 5 coach like some people tend to think.

He's a solid coach but this situation is out of his control. He can't help it if guys get hurt and also not his fault that pat and the front office think this small ball crap would work without LeBron. This team would have 4 more wins at least if the roster was constructed better.

In addition to this they also played a pretty tough schedule. By the end of this week they would've already played Washington 3x, Atlanta 2x, Toronto, Phoenix, Dallas, golden state, memphis, lac, & Houston.

This is a complete overhaul. It is a brand new system and style with multiple new faces. It will take some time to figure it out.

Spoles is a good coach. He coached circles around Doc Rivers 3 years ago in the ECFs and his adjustments 2 years ago in the finals in particular inserting Mike Miller into the starting lineup in game 4 helped win that series. If he top 5? No. But he isnt a fraud or bad. Dude can coach.

And injuries doesn't help. Wade missed time, McRoberts is out for the year, and now Bosh is out a while.

The projected starting lineup of Cole, Wade, Deng, McBob, & Bosh only played 34 minutes together all year long

If he was such a bad coach, no way would he have won 43 & 47 games with shitty rosters in his 2 seasons before Lebron

You know what.... I will put it this way...name 5 that are better. I think Spoles could arguably be a top 5 coach.

To me.. 1. Pops 2. Thibbs 3. Rivers 4. Carlisle ... Let's say I grant these four although I honestly believe the Pops is the only one unarguably better. Name me some better current coaches.

Spoelstra is a fraud and isn't a good Head. I give him avg grade. In a way u can say he lost 2 titles. Very bad rotations.

Lebron was obviously to blame for the Dallas series and we ran into the best team in the league.

No way to fairly grade/evaluate Spoelstra this season.

As far as the job he did with the big 3, I'd personally grade him pretty highly.

He never lost control of that group, and he was very creative and willing to experiment to get max results in even high risk situations.

As BK pointed out, he showed he could coach based on the results he got from 08-10.
