Spent the afternoon with Dexter Manley

Met him and his wife Lydia at a restaurant last night, he was with my neighbor from across the street. They were staying with them. Apparently they've been friends for decades. Wife and I were invited over today with a few other neighbors to meet him. He looked great, spent 3 hours telling his life story from the hood in Houston, to OK State (Jimmy Johnson) through his years with Joe Gibbs, his literacy problems, and his drug problems (he was using for more than 5 years while with the Redskins). through the end of his career with Phoenix and Tampa. Great stories, he was picked up on Georgia Avenue by the cops at 4 am looking for drugs; they took him to the hospital instead of jail which he claims saved his life in 2006.
