Unlike last year, KC has actually played us real tough this season. I think we're only one or two games up at best in head to head battle.

I thought we had the best offseason this year, but I recall saying KC wasn't far behind. They did pretty well for themselves.

Edit: Let me clarify that. I thought the Sox had the best offseason and KC wasn't far behind in just the AL Central, not in all of baseball.

And what bugs me is how Gio emphatically stated that he was going to return to his previous dominant self this back half. At this point I'd say hardly.
