ok, ok. this is not the '05 sox. whistling past the graveyard does not make anyone feel better. some of you are happy we made the playoffs. i am too ... but not this way. not when it looks like we are the worst team in baseball. 4/9ths (and really i should include starting pitching) of this team is absolute crap! who wins with a team like that? they really have their work cut out for them over the off season.

and it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if renteria was trashed along with encarcrapcion and no more mazara.

I don’t really care how they get in so long as they do...and when they do all that matters this season is that if they go down, they go down swinging. They laid down last night after 3 straight gut punch games. But let’s not act like Cleveland just wiped the floor with us. Hard to say when you’re swept but we all died softly in those last 3 vs them because it was so close where we SHOULD have won a couple.
So yeah, I’m all about that Debbie Downer life if we get destroyed in a few days in the playoffs, but until then I still have confidence our boys will put in a good showing. House money iddy. Wipe it clean Sunday night no matter how this Cubs series ends up and we goin’ Sizzler!

This team will get off the mat - they are too young to think they can't. Just shake up the routine - Robert should bunt is way on - Abreu should go to RF - choke up if you don't usually -pick the lineup out of a hat - more of the same probably is not a good idea.
