He's like the Mo Williams of the NFL. Bitches and moans that he's not starting but he isn't a legitimate starter. He is a career backup. Unless it's 3rd and 1, the guy just isn't that good. Never was.

Brandon Jacobs has been suspended for the 49ers' final three games of the regular season.

It might not be what Jacobs wants, but I prefer it this way. I'd hate to see him go to a competitor and be productive in the playoffs. Which is selfish, I know. Think he probably serves us better on the bench than for another team.

He was probably cut because Dixon ran very well in short yard situations yesterday. And with LMJ playing well too he was expendable. Now to find 2 special team players to take his and Dobbs (who im assuming goes in the IR) rosters spots.

good, my biggest concern would be him returning to NY and teaching them our offense. Any other team too, but especially NY. There is nothing stopping him from being a dick and leaking shit, but i prefer suspension over cutting. let him rot away

I think Dixon's been looking good lately as a power complement and I haven't been a Dixon fan for most of his career (a power back shouldn't do the the Ickey shuffle before hitting the line..)

He's been lowering the pads and punching through now..hope he continues

I saw that Harbaugh has suspened him for the final three games. Too bad it didn't work out. I thought he was gonna be an answer to our goal line offense struggles.
