Just saw the highlights of this game. Terrible hit by Stewart. That's about as dangerous of a play as you can make in hockey. Good thing Kronwall is okay. That has to be a suspension.

I said "Jesus Christ" aloud after every single replay they gave. It seemed to look increasingly worse from every new angle they showed.

Dunno how Kronwall wasn't seriously hurt, especially given his history of injuries.

When I see these types of plays, usually I don't think there is an attempt to injure. But I don't see any intent NOT to injure either. It's a careless, stupid, and dangerous play and I think it should be at least 5 games for a 1st time offender (don't know if he is or not) even if the other guy isn't seriously hurt, which Kronwall does not appear to be. Some guys on TSN are saying 2 games if Kronwall isn't hurt but I would like to see a few more for these types of hits.

Stewart has a phone hearing with Shanaban man this morning at 11 am, so if he does get a suspension, it will most likely be 4 games or less.

He's not a repeat offender, or at least I don't recall him being that kind of player in the past.
