No one would like to see Dusty go more than me, but Jacoby wouldn't be an improvement. To be honest, in season managerial changes rarely change much, because someone on the ousted guys staff always takes over, doing the same stupid crap that got his ex boss fired. It probably isn't happening any time soon anyway. Dusty didn't get the axe in losing seasons 07-09, 11. He got a 2 year extensions after making playoffs in 10 & 12. He's safe for another year. Maybe that has adverse effects on sense of urgency. I hope not, but it's a recurring coincidence if it isn't.

Sticking with Cesar Izturis. Sooner or later we will need to get a bunt down and Dusty will remember that bunting is the only thing Izturis does well... and Dusty will remember why getting a guy to 3rd base with fewer than 2 outs is a good idea.
