Auto, How are things in Ames? It looks like you've had some pretty nasty weather down your way bro.

It is freakin' crazy! I can't even tell you how many times I have filled up the gas tank to get around. We are having to drive miles around the long way just to get anywhere. Most resturants are closed with no water. I think the boil ordinance lasts until next tuesday or so. We had 2 big water main breaks and 4 smaller ones. And they happened under a creekbed. (which is now about 20 feet deep)

Thank god my family is ok, I'm just driving around seeing what I can do to help.

I consider myself more lucky than good at this point. You should see all the people working round the clock around here. It is really a pretty awesome. People are dropping whatever they are doing to help anybody else out. It really affirmed why my wife and I moved back to Iowa from Florida to raise our family. We are surrounded by nothing but good people. (and water, then ice, then snow, then ice again, then water, then heat....)
