He was lights out in the Charlotte SB. Tom was good and lucky. More than Eli's one lucky throw.
Brought the team back from 2 TDs to have the lead. That doesn't go away. Butlers int erased probably the flukiest catch in NFL history. i.e. Again Tom was good and lucky.

See the difference?

Yup, i know the rules

Every time the Pats win, its because they are great

Every time they lose, its because it was flukey, and the other team was lucky

Ive been around a while

I think Eli might be, Eli's only qualifier is being an absolute assassin when it counts
Assassin? I'm pretty sure no one has ever confused Cooper's little brother with being an assassin as it relates to football.

Some people would say a cheating QB getting in would also water it down

No they're good too. Was it Baldwin? That catch wasn't fluky?

Luck is certainly part of winning. The Patriots have had their share of breaks but it was never the only reason they've won.

No, it's all reasons. They have played hundreds of games, in which they have won with luck, lost with luck, won because of talent, lost because of talent, won because of injuries, lost because of injuries, etc, etc.

Your first useful post of the day

CowboyB's record for consecutive useless posts is still safe at "his entire posting history"

I blame BB for not thinking of the walkie talkie first, guy has lost his edge

You know Bill's style: do something to give your team an advantage, have the NFL make a rule against it, and then keep doing it a little more.

You realize there was no guarantee Lynch would have gotten in, and had been stopped in similar situation earlier, right?

It was a low risk call, which would have left them a down to still rush. Malcom Butler just made a "historically great" play.

The anger you feel over Eli's owning your boyfriend

Will only be topped by his Gold Jacket
Boy, I can hardly wait to listen to Goober give his acceptance speech.
