Seattle has a good D, but "great Seattle pass rush"?

the game will have slowed even more for Kaep after this Sunday, "almost complete ineffectiveness" is an exaggeration. but again, this what a very pessimistic person would write.

our offense will move against their D, more than their offense will move against ours. but as always in tight games, it is those "little" mistakes....turnovers followed by big penalties.

Hardly. They do that at home to even experienced quarterbacks whose O lines pass block. The 49ers have neither.. They sacked Aaron Rogers 8 times.

A big game with some critical turnovers bythe 49er defense is the best chance the 49ers have to win this game.

Seattle has (or had) an outstanding secondary, Bobby Wagner at linebacker is a candidate for defensive rookie of the year. Bruce Irvin was their passrushing draft pick but he has tailed off a little bit and Red Bryant, their monstrous defensive lineman, has a bad foot. They can be pretty stout. Also Russell Wilson and the rest of the offense has improved markedly since the game at Candlestick -- I don't think we can count on their receivers dropping passes again or us shutting him down like we did in the second half.

The Packers O-line is considerably worse than ours. Has been for several seasons now. Running game, it's no contest, but they don't pass block as well, either. Seattle does generate pressure, but saying they'll get to our guy because they got to Rodgers is a bit of a stretch in my opinion.

They may well get to our guy, though. How the team responds is the key. We don't want to keep the Seattle crowd in this game. Get them out of it early. Something we didn't do in New Orleans.
