Washington is dead last vs QB's. I'm already plugging in Greg Jennings for a spot start, and I'm really tempted to play Ponder. I'm always a sucker for that QB/WR tandem play. My other options on my roster are Ryan vs SEA and Dalton vs BAL. Both not too exciting.

Ponder looked decent vs Dallas Sunday, and the team has really rallied behind him as the starter. They're at home versus a really bad defense. My only worry would be that AP just runs wild and does all of the scoring.

So, I'm really tempted to try and catch lightning in a bottle here. Is Ponder actually a plausible start Thursday night? I'm really hoping you guys can convince me otherwise, but right now, I think so.

I think you only need to look at last week's game for evidence.

Not sure what scoring system your referring to, but Dallas is actually Dead last in fantasy points allowed to QB'S according to standard ESPN scoring.
Ponder's stat line just last week against the Cowboys? 236, 1 TD, 1 INT.
I'd go with Dalton before ever considering Ponder.

There has to be better waiver options available and if not, I would go with Dalton as well.

Heck, I'd roll the dice and put a claim In on Case Keenum before considering Ponder

If you can drop someone meaningless, take a flyer on the Packers signing Matt Flynn shortly. He would be a nice play against the Eagles this week.

I'd go with Dalton, he seems up and down, Balitmore's D is mediocre, and Dalton should be on the upswing after last week.

I would play the Redskins defense long before I play Ponder in this match-up, and I wouldn't advise that either.
