Not really a biggie, but the Winnipeg Jets are now in the Western Conference while the Red Wings & Blue Jackets have moved to the Eastern Conference. ]

Yeah, I don't mean any disrespect to Florida Panther fans, but if I had to pick a team from the Eastern Conference to go to the Western Conference, the Panthers would be it. Bad team, poor attendance, very little tradition.

hard enough to keep 2 FLA teams going they should move one and since Tampa does have a cup and a slightly better fan base seems logical. nhl probably already has plans for seattle but need an arena first and would they get one over quebec?

You guys both bring up good points. If I handled things, I would've just had the Red Wings & Jets switch divisions, move the Coyotes to QC & move the Panthers to Seattle. Or something like that...

I say move all of the teams except 8 East. Toronto can have 3 and we can split the rest into the New York / Jersey/ England area. That way the Sharks, Flames, Nucks, Kings, Blues, Blackhawks, Predetors and Jets can all make the playoffs every year.

Bettman probably won't let the Coyotes move because as long as they're in Phoenix he could justify his go to move during the CBA negotiations: the lockout.
