One of the things that has me most excited to think about for this season is seeing what Booker, Beebe and Tyler Smith can do next to each other in the middle of our OL. It's going to be fun to watch if they can get the push that I hope they can. No more just hoping for an OL that can stand it's ground. Let's get some movement and start imposing our will a little. Damn will that open up the PAP to our two WRs if it happens...
Makes me want to have the Tush Push in the game plan. A RB better learn to take snaps cause if I see dak doing it i might go outside and yank some bricks off the house to throw at the TV.

Joe Milton is 6'5", 250 and athletic. Sounds like just the job for him

Booker seems like such a nice guy.
I am hoping all those things I hear him saying about the game isn't just talk. I hope he has a mean streak on the field.
He will be so fun to watch if it isnt just talk. :becky: (I'm excited too)
a man with a beard and braids is praying with his hands together in a room .
Thanks Mean Joe.

Was listening to some show and Everson Walls said something about Mike Tomlinson having a good command of his team and locker room. He don't know for sure what the deal was, but it could have been that did not like each other (for whatever reason). Top off that he said a change definitely don't mean something bad for Pickens and listed examples.

I drank the hopium...
If I were a talented WR and had Kenny Pickett, Justin Fields and Mason Rudolph one hopping passes to me, I'd walk around pissed off too

He's that big? I didn't look at those number just that one play they show.

Joe, start with and end with the squat machine every day. Tell him shotty!
He is that big and runs 4.6. Just think Josh Allen physically. Behind those 3 I would push push all season

The numbers on this kid are staggering. Like something only elite of the elites do. He's never had a QB as good as Dak either as you mentioned.

Lamb one side, him on the other, Turpin in slot. Ferg and Blue make for a hell of a check down......or Pickens, turpin and Lamb make plays to save daks bomb ass throws. Two go routes and a post. Where's the safeties and where's the LBs?

Well that's the way I have it drawn up in my head.

Fergie is a big key. He should have a monster season. I think if Pickens keeps his head screwed on right, he will be worth an extra win or two

Funny if we end the game Thursday night with a tush push.

I really do hate saying those words.
My hope is JT can help a little in stopping the tush push. But I do love the Milton idea behind Smith Beebe and Booker

Thanksgiving Day game will be vs Kansas City
Just release the whole thing now. This drip and drab is dumb. Too many leaks before the schedule release. Wish they could stop leaking games. I can see the first game being released early.

I agree. The NFL milks every penny they can from every angle. Ten years from now you'll probably need 17 different streaming services to see your team play 17 games

As I have said a bunch of times, part of what I like the most is how we have churned the bottom of the roster this year and now with adding a top end talent like Pickens the roster just looks so much better. Adding another top of the rotation DT would be a dream come true at this point. Forget for a minute that you may disagree with who they list above as a starter (for example Fowler) that second and third column looks a lot better. We have some nice depth pieces at positions where we seemed to be really weak in the past. I'm pumped that all of these crappy OL will hopefully be gone. I'm tired of hearing fans and media talk about guys like Waletzko who just stink year after year and who we keep bringing back. My long winded thoughts. Probably everyone will just give me a TLDR :D

Edge depth assuming Kneeland starts for run down purposes: EZ, Fowler, Sam Williams (Really dynamic, disruptive pass rushers across from Micah). I think the kid from the Saints will be lucky to even make the team or see any snaps if he does. DT - still a problem. Let's see what last year's and this years 7th rounders can do. Doing more than hoping at DT is just not realistic right now. Thomas should be decent in a rotation. Not great and not good enough to command all of the snaps he likely will get here, but definitely raises the floor of our depth and especially against the pass. I wouldn't be surprised if he got 3 or 4 sacks and if none of the kids are playable he may be second to Osa in DT snaps because he will play more than Mazi in passing situations.

LBer a little weak to start teh season, but if Overshown is back by year-end we probably start him and Liufau which means we have both guys that we acquired this offseason fighting for that part time 3rd spot. We have our 5th rounder, Clark who has been disappointing but who was another guy with all the physical tools that probably needed to learn how to play and don't forget he is only 24. Plus we have Vigil who they seemed to like.

DB - safety depth may be better than our starters with Bell, Thomas, Mukuamu (I think he will be at safety when everyone is back) and the Syracuse kid who is one of the UDFAs I think might make the team. CB is an injury mess right now but if we assume the top 3 are back that leaves us Elam and Butler (when back from injury) who was IMO really impressive in his limited time. Then we still have Carson, Bell, Booth and Hall and any UDFAs and other FAs to fight out for the bottom spots and probably Goodwin as a STer. A lot of corners this year if health is our friend

OL - our starting OTs could be a big problem, but the depth across the OL is good. I thought Richards looked pretty good and would be comfortable with him fighting for a starting job with one of the two Tackles or being the Swing Tackle. He also has position flex as does Jones who we traded for from Miami and Hoffman who I think we all felt coming into this season would be an "ok" starter if need be, so as a backup he is very solid IMO. Then we have some draft picks from last year and this year and a few free agents from this year and Bass and a couple of the stragglers who have just been taking up space fighting for what is probably one spot. If we get good starting OT play our OL depth should be better than most teams

Skill positions - I really like the Milton move. Hopefully Dak is healthy and we don't find out but I think with some coaching he will be a better backup for us than we have had recently because he can possibly even grow into a bottom tiered starter type. WR depth still not good but Pickens moved everyone down one spot so that helped immensely. We are elite at the top two spots and solid with our #4 in Turpin because he isn't more than a dozen or so snaps per game guy. We are still weak at #3 WR but hat really is a starter. I'm not sure any of the backups are going to be useful. Hoping that the UDFA Holden steps up as I think the kid has talent and I do have to say I liked the skill set of Flournoy last year. Hopefully Mingo does what Jerry tells us he will but if he doesn't Io hope there is no pressure to keep or play him. RB - who knows who will start or be on the 53 but I think the top end talent is probably on the weak side, but the depth should be good. TE I like what we have behind Ferguson more than most. Forget where Schoonmaker was drafted as that is irrelevant now. He catches a little and blocks a little and Spann-Ford is a good blocker. Then we have Stephens who showed a lot of promise as a little more of a dynamic receiving guy if he recovers from his injuries and a couple of UDFAs that I read some people were high on. I think we have a nice mix of TEs and I think we will see a lot of them in this offense and I also expect a lot of seam routes to our TEs on the PAP.

AND...the offseason isn't over yet. I think this new coaching staff will take a few months to figure out who they like and don't like and wouldn't be surprised if there was a little more churning come late August...

Overshown, Diggs and I think Revel are all difference making players. If they were all in the starting lineup opening day, I would have no problem putting us down for 12 wins. How soon we get all 3 back will determine a lot
