You know what Jaylon? We will settle for not missing tackles, not getting blocked to the 3rd level or sealed out of the play and not taking horrible angles. You were Bradie James last year...
Not the Bradie James I remember. Jaylon missed some plays but he made some great plays too

All jaylon problems were scheme issues. Having small defensive tackles means jaylon took on way too many offensive lineman. Also way too much stunting which allowed OGs to get too the second level immediately. And the coaching staff too effing stupid to adjustNot the Bradie James I remember. No. Jaylon sucked and the scheme was not the reason. He had no instincts, missed tackles and was just horrible in 2019. But, he was fantastic in 2018. So let's hope that is the Jaylon we see in 2020All jaylon problems were scheme issues. Having small defensive tackles means jaylon took on way too many offensive lineman. Watching that reminds how good Emmitt was, but also how great his OL was. Moose and the Wide outs all blocked their ass off tooThis is pretty cool
I did not see him make great plays last year. Not the Bradie James I remember. Jaylon missed some plays but he made some great plays too
You must have been asleepI did not see him make great plays last year.
What are you talking about? It was posted to twitter the same day that I posted it and it isn't film, it's 4 picsYou must be bored by showing this old film.
Jaylon? Maybe we should switch him to Offense thenHe was rated in the top 3 of all college receivers.
Every player makes some great plays. The guy was on the field for over 92% of our defensive snaps. He made nowhere near enough great plays for the # of snaps he played and nowhere near as many as he made the year before. But he did get blown out of plays, sealed off by blockers and missed a ton of tackles that should have been made at the LOS or 2nd level that he at best chased down on the 3rd level and at worst missed entirely. He also pulled a lot of "look at me" crap with his "swipe" at the worst possible time, whether it be when the team was down or when he was just embarrassed on a previous play, or a subsequent one like in the end zone when he acted like he blew up a 4th down play on 2nd down and the team (can't remember which game) scored the next play after running right down the field on his defense. He needs to be way better than he was last year. Not only was he not worthy of his contract but he wasn't even worthy of starting on a good deep team. Thankfully, the year before he played at an All Pro level and was one of the better defensive players in the Conference, so hopefully that is the guy we see this yearYou must have been asleep
I think you're being a little harsh. Name the NFL team that got worse defensive tackle play last season than Dallas. Just compare our DT's to the other teams in our own Division last season. Then factor in all the things they were asking Jaylon to do. I think finally making an attempt to strengthen our interior DL is gonna make a huge difference for all our LB'sEvery player makes some great plays. Harsh yes, but honest too. Our DT play from guys paid peanuts last year was similar to what we got from Jaylon and he was paid to be elite. Don't go by what he did in 2018, which was fantastic. You really think he was even NFL average last year? He killed us week after week IMO. He did a good job rushing the passer, but I'm talking about the other thingsI think you're being a little harsh. How about Jaylon just playing better, instead of asking others to make him look good??I think you're being a little harsh. So if a QB's WR's lead the league in drops, the QB shouldn't need them to catch the ball to make him look good? If a running back is hit behind the line of scrimmage more than any other back in the league, he doesn't need decent blocking to make him look better? Our DT play was a joke. if your 2 DT's can't take up the 3 interior blockers, you're gonna have a hard time stopping the run in a 4-3 setHow about Jaylon just playing better, instead of asking others to make him look good??
