It's the combination of the two that would make me take a QB IF the right guy is there. Jerry will not IMO because it would lead to questions about "why did you extend Dak so early". My plan would be to play Dak in 2025 and then replace him in 2026 as a post 6/1 cut unless he turns it around.

You hit the nail on the head. It's my one big gripe about Mac, who I really like otherwise. He's calling the same gameplan with Rush that he called with Dak. It's not working. If the argument against putting Lance in is that he will turn it over, the only reason Rush didn't have 5 tiurnovers each of the last two weeks is we recovered some of his fumbles and the defense dropped passes that hit them in the chest. I know Mac might not be comfortable calling read option stuff for Lance, but I guarantee you that Schottenheimer, who was OC in Seattle with Russell Wilson could call that kind of game
I could see the Cowboys get blown out . They barely beat the Giants with Dak. They were lucky to win that game. Now we got even worse QBs and a injury depleted roster.We shall see. Jerry can't lose that Thanksgiving Day national tv game against the lowly Giants. He just can't. I don't think we will get blown out, but if somehow we do, you will never have seen a more somber Jerry in your life in his box and after the game in front of the locker room with all of the reporters who will be going after their pound of flesh
There are 4 QB's that could go in the top 10. I love 2 of them and like the other 2. I would have zero problem with taking one and letting them sit and learn for a couple of years.

Cam Ward is the top guy to me. You're right as to Milroe being ranked 4th but I love the lid. Very similar to Lamar Jackson at the same age. Sanders is one on some boards and is a big talent. And Ewers from Texas is my 4
Yes lol. I think the problem with Rush is we can't run the ball with him in there. Teams just load the box and challenge that weak arm
I read that McCarthy supposedly has some packages for Trey. This is what irritates me about this team. They have no clue that you can fool a team. But to do that you can't telegraph everything. If they want to fool a defense you would have to use Lance like the Saints use that TE. They need to alternate them.

Man....I guarantee you, if we start out a game and put Lance back there with Deuce beside him and bring Turpin across for her sweeps and fakes and run RPO off that...defenses would HAVE to put 8 in the box, and Diggs would get man looks. I would love to see it
Ward is gonna be a great pro IMO. I really like Milroe. All 4 kids have a shot. Look at the QB's that are coming out and playing great from jump this year. Not just Williams and Daniels, but Maye and Nix are doing great. McCarthy and Penix are sitting behind vets but their clubs love them. That was always my argument about not resigning Dak. If the plan was going with Cooper Rush, then Hell no. But if you draft kids, you can find a QB these days.
