I will say that I feel much better about the defense going into this season than last season. When Nolan was hired I spent an hour looking up the stats of all those years he was a DC. It was not good,in fact it was terrible.

The defensive collapse we witnessed last season was really not a surprise to me.

I just feel Quinn will get better results. Much better. So I predict the Cowboys will win the NFC East.. much needed draft resources used on defense. Hooker was a good pickup. Urban,Neal and Kazee eere also good signings. Gone are losers like X-woods and that backup DT we started at NT for 3 seasons. We added playmakers and ballhawks in the draft .

might have been when I was yelling at him for missing the ball. Which is why I missed the part where he did a flip over the 3 ft. fence with the yellow pad landing on his knees on the other side.

Like I said. All I saw was him missing a catchable pass.

I'm still torn on him playing much in the preseason. Not because of his shoulder, but I'd prefer him not tweek that ankle in meaningless games, but with him missing 11 weeks last season, I think he needs the reps for timing purposes.


Now that I think about it, did he strain his shoulder because of all the time off last season? Did he push it too hard too soon this year?

August 5th I would rest Dak and start Gilbert. I think Gilbert can move the offense down the field. Gilbert did ok against Pittsburgh and under extreme pressure. I think Gilbert and Dalton have similar skills,its just Gilbert never got the chance to play being a 6th or 7th round pick..

the thing I get worried about when RBs & WRs work on strength, is muscle pulls. I can see Hammys, Groin pulls or Abdominal strains coming this year for Zeke.

If I were a player I would make yoga apart of my offseason workouts.

I'll take that over fat and out of shape which leads to injuries as well
