The defense has not stopped many good teams since the mid 90s. That was the last time I witnessed a good defense. Jerry really does not want to spend on defense. We thought we had a good defense in 2009 and it imploded in the playoffs. 2018 same thingTrue and if we don't fix our corners, our DLine won't matter. Tough spot we are in right now. We don't need a good defense but we can't be horrible like last year and honestly it seems like it has been a while since we had a defense that made stops when it mattered against good teams
Unfortunately we don't sign guys like this in FA.......maybe in 5-6 years, after his best football is behind him, Dallas might sign himEagles signed LB Eric Wilson, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year contract.
It’s worth up to $3.25 million. This is a high-quality signing at this stage of the offseason. Wilson, 26, was an every-down linebacker as a 15-game starter last season in Minnesota and turned in 122 tackles and three sacks on 96% of the snaps. Wilson provides a much-needed jolt to the Eagles’ linebacker corps, one of their weakest units. Wilson has a history with new DC Jonathan Gannon.
would have been a good signing for us
awesome....imagine the stories told in that room
About SuperBowls and Jerry bashing.awesome....imagine the stories told in that room
I imagine I was not the only Cowboys fan that was surprised and pisst when they heard the news that Jimmy Johnson was leaving the Cowboys? I remember it vividly. Was doing some cleaning up in the yard when I heard the news on the radio. Really have not liked Jerry much after this moment. Then the arrogance shown by Jerry and Switzer after they won the Superbowl with Jimmy's team!!!awesome....imagine the stories told in that room
Jerry has a history of over-rating his own draft picks. Jaylon Smith is the perfect example. I honestly think Jaylon is no longer starting material. Would rather see if Francis Bernard can playEagles signed LB Eric Wilson, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year contract.

I think Quinn thinks the same after reviewing last season.Jerry has a history of over-rating his own draft picks. Jaylon Smith is the perfect example. I honestly think Jaylon is no longer starting material. Would rather see if Francis Bernard can play
It was so frustrating watching Thomas sit on the bench and a guy like Bernard never even really getting any snaps at all and only playing those 3. Why does it take the offseason to take a step back and realize the LB play was crap. We all saw it the previous year and certainly every single week last yearJerry has a history of over-rating his own draft picks. Jaylon Smith is the perfect example. I have no idea how much we can give in salary, but show him the money. Let get some beef for that line.
There is a short video out there showing Zeke working out. He looks ripped and and slimmed down. He looked very quick. He could have a big year. While some teams have players boycotting OTA, it sounds like Cowboys will show up.
Dallas Cowboys haven’t met about boycotting OTAs, according to WR CeeDee Lamb
With several NFL teams planning boycotts of voluntary workouts this spring, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb said his team hasn’t discussed the issue and...www.google.com
