They really stopped the run well. Just hope in offseason they invest in a safety.

Agree. How bad could Robinson be? 23 can’t even stay out of his own way on special team. A position that has been neglected by the Cowboys for far too long. Likely will continue to be as we need OL help due to our history of injuries and bad picks.
What gets me is 23 was kept because he was supposedly he was a special team ace? And that Savion Smith just sucked. I was shocked when they signed Jaylon Smith to that big extension. He had not proven anything to justify that. He is another player that just is regressing. Either bench him or only use him as a pass rush specialist. He is just not good

If the Cowboys keep losing there could be OL help on the way. Sewell from Oregon is damn good. He could start day one at LG and could move to either Tackle position if needed . He is 6 foot 6 and 340 pounds. Moves like someone much smaller.. a freak athlete.

Surprisingly Arod hasn’t been mentioned in the race.
There were a couple of graphics during the 49er game that mentioned it. And with the way they’re playing right now, it won’t take long for him to jump that list. Need to consider Ben as well. Especially as this streak continues.

That damn Big Ben. He is still a damn good player. He missed a couple of throws yesterday , but he made some damn good ones too.

If we are looking QB - I like the guy from BYU as much as I do anyone that doesn’t play for Clemson.

Don't want to think about QB. We have one. He is injured. We have too many other pressing needs to discuss qb IMO.

Defense and OL have needs. Could use a corner, safety, linebacker? Guard. Another defensive lineman.. we going to have lots of picks in this draft

I agree. Those positions should be a priority.

Are we going to pay him ?? If so , then I agree.
That is the key question. Tagging Dak this year was fine because regardless of the teams long term plans for him the feeling was we could compete for an NFC Championship game this year (obviously that was not true) and that was only happening with Dak. While tagging Dak again next year sounded like a potential option again a few months ago it no longer is because we can now see that even with Dak we aren't likely to have too much playoff success next year so tagging him again next year would be dumb. The only two options now are sign him long term or move on. You can't pay him over $38M next year to have an average team and then let him go the following year, So it's decision time. My preference, unless you somehow can get Lawrence in the draft, is sign him long term and build around him. His absence has proven his value. We suck right now but with Dak, we really are only health and a few good players away from competing.

There really isn’t a juggernaut right now in the NFC. New Orleans looks great some weeks and other weeks not so much. TB looks great on paper but something still is missing. GB who knows. They have played two teams this year that would have struggled to stop Alabama or Clemson. Seattle - their defense just isn’t very good. The thing is those 4 teams - you knew going into the year they were contenders. Why ? The Qb. No matter who you put around them , they always manage to be there in the playoffs. I think with Dak we can be that way. I know the season was looking dim with him but we would have been 2-3. I guarantee you we wouldn’t lose to NO 38-3. TB killed GB too. We wouldn’t lose like that I don’t think. I know that’s just one game. I really thought Dak needed Cooper. I don’t think so anymore. Dak will make it work. Gallup has been real quiet without him. We need some pieces sure but obviously Seattle does too. The other 3 - who knows how long the old QBs play.

Teams on the rise - Arizona , Who else ?? Wash ?? Giants ??
