It would also be nice to force the B1G to play outside their comfort zone. We stack our teams to deal with professional grade offensive lines, but we've overlooked speed for too long. As a conference, we've got to learn how to deal with all different CFB DNA out there.

The B1G is tired of traveling to Florida for bowl games and getting smacked around by the SEC. I heard months ago that they are trying to get a tie-in with the Pinstripe Bowl in NYC....likely against a Big East team. The B1G also wants to get another game against a Pac-12 softie in California.

I imagine the Belk Bowl (Charlotte) will drop the BigEast next year. Maybe they'll pick up the B1G to face ACC. Get the B1G out of Florida and closer to the mid-west.

Pac12 bitch slaps B1G as much as the SEC.

ESPN is reporting that a deal has been done to match up the ACC
champion against Notre Dame or a member of the SEC/B1G conference
in the Orange Bowl beginning in the 2014 season. Expect a full press
release later this week. The Big East gets shut out of a premium bowl
once again!
