Harvin has seen very little playing time this season. No way he is at peak performance or in game shape and no way he is 100%.

And yes, DRC can stay with Harvin. I never said he shuts him down, but he has been great this year and fantastic in the playoffs so far.

Do you really think that Percy Harvin gives Seattle an edge over Denver in the passing game?

If you are asking if I think Seattle's passing game will be better than Denver because of Harvin, the answer is HELL NO. But I do think Harvin will command respect from the DEN secondary, which will open things up for everyone else on the offense, including Lynch. Seattle will win with defense (if they win) and I don't think anyone is questioning that, but the game might come down to the DEN defense vs the SEA offense and I think the Seahawks win that matchup.

Are you really comparing the Saints two road playoff games vs the Broncos two home games, as if they are somehow related? :L

If you were able to read, you would see that I actually compared both #1 seed teams home playoff performance on defense.

Saints may have been better statistically better over the regular season, but Denver has been playing lights out at home and on the road the last few weeks. Considering they have 6 starters on IR, a miracle.

The Texans and Raiders may be in the bottom of the barrel, but both of those teams run the ball very effectively.

And the Chargers and Patriots were running the ball very well heading into the post season and Denver shut them down.

When it counts, they have been playing at a high level lately.

Besides, what the hell does home field have to do with the Superbowl?

This game is going to come down to a few key things:

1) Lynch. IF he runs for 100+ the Seahawks win. The Broncos are going to give Wilson some one on one looks assuming he can't hit the receiver. Basically because he can't.

2) Peyton Manning vs. the Seattle pass rush. All the pass protection in the world is designed to give you just 3 seconds. If the rush takes longer than that to get to Manning, he'll carve them up.

3) Penalties. Seattle is the most penalized team in the league - and that speaks to lack of discipline. They had 8 on Sunday compared to just 4 for Denver.

4) Turnovers. Do I really need to explain this?

Yeah, Wilson cant hit receivers. Except for all those times that he has.

And guess which team was #2 in penalties.

Except that Denver is #2. Seattle is a young team, though, and should see more sacks so negative plays might be an issue for them.

When was the last time we got the 2 preseason favorites in the Super Bowl? Pats-Eagles? Its been awhile.

Seattle's strength on offense has been their running game and Denver's strength on defense is stopping the run.

7th in the league this season and so far the best rush defense in the playoffs.

Based on what? If all you got is "BeastMode!" than we are done here.

Denver has yet to give up a sack in the post season.

And no, if you put Wilson in a position where he's got to hit his men he can't do it. The Seahawks aren't going to win the SB with Wilson's arm.

Just throwing this out there but stopping the run is hard when you're playing a mobile QB.

Do you feel that a lot of that has to do with playcalling? The NE DBs weren't exactly challenging the LOS and Manning was getting the ball out quick do the soft coverage.

There are multiple reasons that Denver hasn't given up a sack yet.

1. Manning gets the ball out really, really quick.
2. Manning is an expert at identifying where a blitz is coming from and countering it.
3. Denver's offensive line is really good (PFF had them ranked as the best in the NFL).
4. Knowshon Moreno is also really good in pass protection, but he can also release and catch the ball as a safe outlet.
5. If you beat one of the Broncos lineman cleanly, he'll hold you to keep Manning from getting hit.

That's a bunch of bullshit. Wilson has his struggles, but he's a gamer and gets the ball to his receivers at the biggest times, consistently. If this game comes down to the 4th quarter, Wilson will get his plays. You would know this if you watched instead of just talking about him.

I saw the game on Saturday and Wilson wasn't hitting the receivers - it's that simple. I also saw the game before that....again, he wasn't hitting his men.

This is the SB!

You've got to be able to hit the men, not just when they're open, but even when they're covered. Manning can do that and Wilson can't.

Wilson is NOT the strength of the offense and if you think he is, you don't know your team very well. You go only as far as Lynch carries you.

Lynch has had struggles getting yards in plenty of games, and Wilson still moved the offense and won them. I dont think his passing is strength of the team, but the liability that you make it out to be. If you want to see a liability passer, look no farther than the guy Seattle just knocked out. You know, the guy that you were touting all last week as playing so much "better" than Wilson.

Chargers have an excellent pass rush and got to Manning more than any other team in the regular season and they were not able to do it in the playoffs.

Bottom line is O-line has been playing very well. Seattle has a tough front 7, so this will be a good match up.

The way I see it, both Kaepernick and Wilson struggle with the same issue: consistency. Both are capable of wowing you with unbelievable plays (especially when they get outside the pocket). But neither is consistent enough to move their team down the field over the course of a game with just their arms.

And that's fair in a general sense. There is a lot of details that are different between them. But what really separates them IMO is their 4th quarter play with the game on the line. Kaep flinches, Wilson does not. Wilson's best plays come when they matter most, Kaep's best plays come when they got a double digit lead.

Denver did pretty well stopping the league's #1 rusher LeSean McCoy with Vick at QB holding him under 100 at 73 yards and Oakland with Terrell Pryor only getting 36 yards rushing and RUN DMC only had 12.

Seeing how it will be 20 degrees at kick off and prolly the usual New Jersey swirling winds. I think Seattle will have the advantage 'cause they have the better defense.

Seattle- 24
Denver- 20
