So who will claim Grabner & O'Brien?

Grabner must have had an awful training camp. He was a big part of the Ballard trade. What happenend with O'Brien? Was it a numbers game? Did somebody else step up?

you won't believe it, but Andrew Alberts stepped up and legitimately stole S.O.B.'s job.
he was actually pretty damned steady during the preseason, and footspeed even seems to have improved.

so $1.6m is just too much for a #7 d-man.

Nucks are trying to fit Burrows and Salo on the opening day roster, so they can max out the LTIR benefits.
They also released Brendan Morrison from a PTO contract today, and BMo was among the best players in a couple of the preseason games. Guess he was still looking for $7 figures? (pure speculation on my part). He should end up somewhere soon.

I'd love to see the Sharks take Grabner. Doubtful it'll actually happen though.
