Answer is actually much easier than one would think.
Much like a Wes Welker, some guys are just born to play the slot. Moving Crowder out to the X or Y position has drastically hurt his production. If and when Pryor and Dropctson can get up to speed and be the X and Y starters, I dont expect to see the Crowder we were all hoping for.
If those gys can get up to speed, and Crowder goes back into his natural slot position, we might see the Crowder that had us all excited last year.
