I see two major scenarios developing: One is that the Texans will start a hailstorm of trading within the top five to eight teams including the Rams; or two, nobody does much trading all and the Texans stay put and select a QB.

Either way, the Rams are in a GREAT position to get a slew of extra picks. Either the Texans take a QB and then the teams who want Clowney will want to move up or the Texans take Clowney and the teams who want a QB move up to get the best one on their board

Because the Rams 2 biggest needs are Guard and Safety and you don't draft either in the first round unless you think they are making the Hall of Fame.

At some point, we are going to have to replace the average players on fat contracts. I'm not saying Long is for sure on that list and guys like Laurinaitis, Bradford and Cook certainly are.

until the Rams gets a QB who can make plays, and BIG plays, it won't matter if the Rams are set at the other positions. Unfortunately, the Rams brain trust thinks Bradford is the greatest thing since sliced bread, so don't expect any upgrade to the most important position on the team. Consequently, while we can have hope for a playoff spot, I don't see that happening until we get a new QB.

retro, I see what our fellow Rams fans are saying about the weather, I left Arizona this afternoon and it was 81, now I am in Chicago and its snowing and 18. Here for some unfortunate cancer treatment. Already told a few doctors, get me better, can't go until the Rams win the Super Bowl again.
