So Victor Oladipo got wide-eyed during Miami's bubble finals run...

He thought he'd be the missing piece that got them over the top, so much that he turned down an extension of roughly $100 million with the Pacers...

Instead, he's now shooting under 40 percent from the field and a shade over 31 percent from three in 38 games this season. Yikes.

Thanks, Vic. Your "sacrifice" has helped the Pacers greatly...

As @trojanfan12 once said, stupid should hurt.

He best pick up his option, no one else is paying him that. Therefore he'll be able to enjoy an extra year with a 34-year-old washed up Jimmy Butler...

23/6/5 on a career best 53% shooting now=washed
26/6/5 on 61% shooting since the all star break.

Anyone who think butler is washed is really dumb

Still take Tyrese Haliburton over him 10 times out of 10, who you know, has a future while Butler has a past. A past that includes ruffling teammates...

Of course you would…Haliburton is on a team tanking. Butler is on a contending team and I am taking Butler on the contending team 10/10 times

Really depends on your definition of "contending".

I know what Jimmy Butler can do when the big lights come on. Halliburton has never played in a real meaningful game in his whole entire career. He may be great in that spot. We don’t know though because he’s lost a lot of games everywhere he’s been.

You mean all 22 years old of his entire career? When you consider the situations he’s inherited he’s won quite a lot considering his young age.

What did I say that wasn’t right? You’re bagging on a player who has shown that he’s a big time performer in big time moments and praising a kid who has lost so many games that he hasn’t played in a meaningful game in his 3 year NBA career on things he hasn’t done yet.

The kid is 23 (my correction)… Give him a break. He’s even made a game-winner in Miami once this season.

These 2 players shouldn’t be in the same sentence. Really bad comparison.

Of course the young player going to have more value across the league. That is a no brainer.

Calling Butler washed is pretty ignorant though. Far from it.

But that was in a game that hasn’t mattered. Why do you think I’m coming at Halliburton when you’re the one who has been dismissive of the better player in Jimmy Butler?

Yep butler was a top 3 player in basketball last year when it mattered most. It was him, luka, steph, and tatum

Had a 47/9/8 game in an elimination game in Boston. That was one of his 4 games in the playoffs with 40+ but he's washed lol

Cool. But Damian Lillard actually has competed in and won playoff games. Halliburton hasn’t played in a high stakes game to EVEN get to a playoff game. Maybe he will someday. Remember what my comment is about. You are the guy who is coming at a great player in Jimmy Butler. The Pacers haven’t had a player of his kind of clutch make up since Reggie. That’s a long time ago. I think you may be too dumb to realize this so I’ll explain it to you for a third time. You look like Rosie O’Donnell calling another woman fat ugly and obnoxious. It’s not a well run organization and no one wants to go and play there.

No, doof, making a game winning shot of the road against a team that reached the ECF last season should matter, as Haliburton did in Miami just before Christmas.

The reason it doesn't matter in the eyes of the average fan is because most of us are obsessed with the GOAT debate and titles, as Dame had alluded to in his interview...

Its a regular season game. How much do you expect it to matter? A regular season game before Christmas at that

Did you want a parade?
